A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure to hang out with Miss Zoe; a sweet, artistically gifted, and gorgeous 9 year old. I've known her and her parents for a few years now and have even had the pleasure of photographing their family a couple of times. Sometimes though, a girl just needs her own session to shine.
When thinking about her session, I was inspired by a dress she had worn to a Father/Daughter Valentine's Day dance. It was made by her Babcia and had just the right touch of tulle, a hint of sparkle, and a timeless silhouette that doesn't overshadow the little girl wearing it. Add a tiara and a fur stole, and you have the perfect ensemble.
Working with Zoe was so much fun! Shy at first, she warmed up quickly, and we danced to Katy Perry (which is a necessity when working with any 9 year old girl). I have also never seen her light up as much as when she told me she was going to see Ariana Grande in concert!
She is at the age where there is a balance between little girl innocence and tween dreams. It's been amazing watching her grow into the lady she has become. Thank you for a beautiful session Zoe! It is always a pleasure!
